Form Translation Manager
Centralised Translation Management for Site Builder 2 (SB2) IIRIS Forms
The Form Translation Manager in Core provides centralised translation management for all SB2 IIRIS forms. It ensures that text originating from LOVs (Lists of Values) in Datahub can be translated consistently and reused across every SB2 website.
How It Works
LOV values from Datahub are available only in English and are commonly used in form picklists such as:
- Job Title
- Country of Residence
- Nature of Business
- Job Functions
- Product Categories
The Form Translation Manager allows these values to be translated into supported languages directly within Core.
Once added, translations automatically become available across all SB2 websites using the same LOV values.
Shared Across All Sites
Core contains a single shared Form Translation Manager used by all SB2 websites.
This approach provides:
- Consistent translations across websites.
- Reusable translations across brands and events.
- Reduced duplication of work.
- Easier maintenance and governance.
Access & Governance
Access to the Form Translation Manager is restricted to Core super users to ensure translation quality, consistency, and controlled governance across the platform.
Translation Request Process
Marketers and site teams can request new translations through the standard support workflow.
Process
- A marketer identifies untranslated LOV text on a form.
- A translation request is submitted through a ServiceNow ticket.
- The support team reviews and adds the translation into Core.
- The translated text becomes available across all SB2 websites.
